Fiskånstuga
Fiskånstuga:
Our simply equipped Fiskånstuga for max 5 persons, lies on an approx 1600m² natural plot on the road between Skålan and Börtnan, on the edge of the small village Fotingen.
The cottage consists of a main room with a cozy wood stove, dining table and a sofa bed, and TV.
In one corner are bunk beds for 2 people, and a small kitchenette with sink, fridge and gas stove is also available. Electricity via a solar system, running water is not available.
A Gästestuga with 2 other large beds is available in only about 10m, so in the object max 5 beds are given.
The veranda invites you to linger or have a barbecue after a successful fishing day.
A source of drinking water for filling the existing canisters is in about 80m away on the other side of the road.
The river Fiskån is only about 50m, and Lake Fotingen about 150m.
The Ljungan River with its fantastic grayling and trout trails can be reached in just 4-5 minutes by car.
The whole area there is a single fly fishing dorado, "canonfish" as the Swede says.
The Fiskånstuga is intended for our guests who would like to take a fishing or hiking tour in the local felling area and is also rented on a daily basis.
An outdoor dry toilet is available.
