Jämtland / Härjedalen is one of the best fishing grounds in Europe.

Untamed rivers and crystal-clear lakes are home to numerous grayling, trout, perch, pike, bark, burbot and char.

Especially for fly fishermen, the region is an Eldorado.

Our houses Nästelströmmen and Mullbergstjärn are only about 15km away from each other. There you will find in the immediate vicinity of the large river Ljungan, as well as the smaller forest rivers Röjan and Kvarnån.

Within a radius of 20-45 minutes by car, you can visit other large and small rivers to practice your passion, such as Ljungan with Välleströmmen and Mellanbörtnan, Fuan, Aloppan, Galån, Fiskån and the beautiful Arån and Lövån.

These rivers provide excellent grayling and trout fishing mostly in solitary nature.

Our Fiskånstuga is located about 35km from the Stuga Nästelströmmen on the road to Ljungdalen, between Fotingen and Börtnan, only about 4-5 minutes by car to the well-known Välleströmmen.

Some rivers and lakes are easy to reach by car, other good spots have to be "hiked".

only a few kilometers away from our house on the Djupssjön you will find the wild Voxnån with its tributary Jättån, as well as some lonely lakes with pike, perch and york, as well as a few smaller lakes with impressive trout and char. About 30km away flows the big Ljusnan with its interesting for fly fishing tributary Norrälven. Ljusnan offers in the direction of Fjäll with its many tributaries a great fishing.

Go by boat to the respective lake or hike to lonely forest and mountain lakes, Jämtland has something for everyone.
